Each year, the MFoA opens the Festival with a presentation of awards to the artists who create outstanding works in Crafts, Drawing, Painting, Mixed Media, Printmaking, Sculpture, Photography, Student Art, Senior Art, and Writing. Held outside Abbot Hall, the public is invited to share in this celebration as we give recognition to the artists who enrich our community. Following the awards presentation, the Art Exhibits are opened for public viewing.
Awards will be presented Wednesday evening, July 2, on the upper grounds outside Abbot Hall, beginning at 6:00 PM. Following the presentation of awards, Festival Art Exhibits will be open from 8:00 to 9:00 PM.
