The Annual Meeting of the Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc. was held Tuesday, September 26, 2006. The business meeting included the Treasurer's Report from Eric Knight and the Nominating Committee's Report, presented by the Committee Chairperson Jean Guastaferri.
Following the reports, elections were held for positions on the 2007 Board of Directors. Elected as officers were Christine Creager Kepko, President; Peter Jackson, Steve Watson, and Carol McLaughlin, Vice Presidents; Eric Knight, Treasurer; and Jean Guastaferri, Secretary. Elected as Directors were Mike Evers, Peggy Farrell, Herb Goldberg, Jeff Kane, Deborah Kearns, Katherine Koch, Barbara Ann McGowan, Carol McLaughlin, Chuck Scheffreen, Tishey Noiseux, Joan Shafnacker, Sonia Slik, and Maggie Smist. Greg Triplett, Immediate Past President, is an ex officio member of the Board.
After some parting words from outgoing President Greg Triplett, the meeting concluded with a digital slide show of Festival events from the past year.
Immediately after the Annual Meeting, the new Board held its first meeting. The 2007 Festival dates were set for Saturday, June 30 through Wednesday, July 4.
