When rain threatened the event, the Festival responded by getting a bigger tent, and the tradition continued. A New Orleans theme provided a colorful backdrop. Lively Zydeco music was performed by Krewe de Roux, as a tribute to the struggles New Orleans residents experienced with Hurricane Katrina, and the strong musical tradition they have worked so hard to preserve.
As always, a wide range of gourmet delights from area restaurants, food emporiums, and chefs highlighted this event. Participating restaurants and chefs include Caffe Italia Trattoria & Bar, Coffey Ice Cream, Foodie’s Feast, Fruit of the Four Seasons, Jack-Tar American Tavern, J&S Brandi’s, Ladycakes, The Landing Restaurant, Maddie’s Sail Loft of Marblehead, Oxford Street Grill, Savory Grace, Shubie’s Liquors & Market Place, Starlight Creatives, Stickey Rice, and Tony’s Pizza. |
