Street Festival 2006

The Street Festival is one big block party. Washington Street, from Abbot Hall to the Old Town House, is closed to traffic and open to everything else. All the performances and activities are free of charge, so come one, come all, and celebrate with us.

A sidewalk minstrel with over three decades of captivated audiences, Stephen has always been a street festival favorite.  A singer/songwriter and an advocate for street performers everywhere, he will surely charm young and old with his stories, poems, jokes and songs.

Alan Hezekiah and Friends return to the Festival with their unique and exciting styles of West African Drumming.

The Magic of Bonaparte'

Boneparte’ is one of Boston’s best illusionists. Captivating crowds with fantasy, fun, and mystery, he is a must-see and a welcome return to the Street Festival.  Watch closely so you don’t miss a thing!
