This arts-and-crafts show hosts some of the finest local artists as well as artists from all over New England. Items vary and often include beautiful, original, handmade jewelry; hand painted furniture; paintings; photographs; and more. Artists will be showing and selling their crafts. Festival attendees will get to meet the artists, learn how they create their masterpieces, and have the opportunity to take home one or more of these fabulous items.
All of the artisans go through a juried acceptance procedure in order to display their items.
The 2008 Artisans' Marketplace was held on the grounds of Abbot Hall, 188 Washington Street, on Saturday and Sunday, July 5 and 6.
Chairpersons: Tracy Cassidy, Kiki Taron Kinney

Artist Birdhouses
Artisans’ Marketplace featured a booth by the Marblehead Arts Association which sold hand painted and embellished birdhouses created by artist members. Some birdhouses are whimsical and fun, some are true works of art, and each is one-of-a-kind. All proceeds from the sales went directly to supporting the Arts Association.
