Festival 2010 Board of Directors

At its annual business meeting on September 22, 2009, the Members of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc. elected the Board of Directors for Festival Year 2010. The Board included six new members: Betty Dew, Barbara Dunney, Lisa Hooper, Cathy Michael, Tammy Nohelty, and Sharman Pollender.

While new to Board, these individuals bring many years of Festival experience with them. Lisa Hooper was chairperson of Champagne Reception in 2004, was on the Champagne Reception coordinating committee in 2009, and has has helped with several Art Auctions. Barbara Dunney has been a mainstay at the Festival's Logo Stores for several years and an Art Auction volunteer. Betty Dew has been a Logo Store and Art Auction volunteer, as well as a Festival photographer. Sharman Pollender has been a contributing artist in the Photography Exhibit, and co-chaired the 2009 Sand Sculpture Competition. Cathy Michael has been a contributing artist in the Painting Exhibit, and this past year was co-chair of the Volunteer Information Committee and chair of Champagne Reception. Tammy Nohelty began as a contributing artist in the Photography Exhibit and moved on the co-chair that exhibit, which she has done for six years, along with being a Festival photographer and a co-chair of the Art Scholarship Committee for several years.
