Ned & The Big Babies entertained with red hot Roots Rock & Funk. Blending an eclectic mix of deep soul and rock covers to their unique original music, Ned and The Big Babies bring a passion, musicality and humor to their live performancs.
Ned and The Big Babies were formed in 2011 by Singer, Bass Player and Songwriter Ned Nugent. Having fronted many large bands—from Rhythm and Blues, 7-piece-power house Grapevine Road to the nationally acclaimed World Beat and Groove band Entrain—Ned sought a stripped down vehicle for his latest musical vision.
Bringing in the very talented Kemp Dunn on drums (The Movers, Barrence Whitfield), the mind-blowing guitar work of Charlie O’Neal (Ben Orr, Michael Sweet, Must, Joshua Tree, The Delta Generators) sealed the deal and makes Ned and The Big Babies an absolute must-hear act.
Legendary Saxophonist Henley Douglas, Jr.

The tradition continued as Marilyn and Cy Fishman once again judge the Hat Contest. Guests were encouraged to have fun designing their special hats, always known for their originality, local color, history and the July 4 celebration. Gift certificates to the Festival’s Logo Store were awarded for the best Creative Hat and the best Fancy Hat.
