Artisans' Holiday Marketplace
On Saturday and Sunday, December 1 and 2, the Festival held its 10th annual Artisans’ Holiday Marketplace at Abbot Hall.
“Over the years, the Artisans' Marketplace has become a favorite destination for Christmas Walk shoppers. It features a variety of arts and crafts works, at many different price levels, that are treasures for personal use and wonderful gifts,” said Kiki Taron Kinney and Pam Duncan, Holiday Artisans’ Marketplace co-chairpersons. “We are proud to support a showcase of more than 20 local and regional artists who bring their many, varied talents to the event.”
Along with the artisans, the Festival welcomed local Girl Scouts, Hospice of the North Shore, and Marblehead’s Community of Friends.
Logo Store
The Festival’s Logo Store participated in Artisans' Holiday Marketplace and featured items from the 2012 summer Logo Store; fun, “vintage” pieces from previous Festival years; and Hestia ornaments which make great holiday gifts.
Artisans' Marketplace was one of the sites where the public could vote for the Marblehead Festival of Arts 2013 Logo. The Festival is represented by a new logo each year, the result of a competition among graphic artists, students and art enthusiasts. Voting continued at various locations through December 15.
