Marblehead & Salem School of Music owners Steve & Jennifer Spungin are wonderful Friends of the Festival and proud to present the rising stars of the North Shore, as well as esteemed faculty, performing some of today's most popular music. These talented, young performers have honed their skill and auditioned for this performance through private lessons and extensive ensemble rehearsals. Ranging in age they will captivate and excite you with their performance. Students performing today are: Jeanine Martinello, Ilana Frost, Alice Sullivan, Meryl Schultz, Alice Sullivan, Camille Comstock, Kyra Veprek (keyboard), Sophia Spungin (violin). These students will be backed by staff members Matt Gershin on drums, Adam Saylor on bass, Ashley Offret on violin and keyboard, and owner Steven Spungin on guitar. Come see these wonderful young artists!

Kat Quinn.
Kat Quinn is a Marblehead native singer/songwriter and guitarist now residing in New York City. Last year Quin released an EP called Exhale, and has another one coming out this year. Her songs have been featured in film and a Notre Dame album, and she recently appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Future Archaic delivers a dynamic original Alt Rock sound with Matt Gershun on drums, Todd Horvath on bass and vocals, Chris Kobialka on lead guitar and vocals and Kyle Lemieux on rhythm guitar and lead vocals. This four-piece group find their influences from blues and rock artists of old and a blend of modern grunge/alternative. Each member brings a different style that creates a unique and innovative sound that we know you’re going to really enjoy!.

Ned & The Big Babies.
Local musical legends Ned Nuget on vocals and bass and Kemp Dunn on drums along with Mark Pelosi on guitar and Eric Goldberg on keys, deliver an eclectic mix of unique original music, with passion, musicality and humor to their live performance that lift spirits and save souls!
Ned & The Big Babies were formed in 2011 by Singer, Bass Player and Songwriter Ned Nugent. Having fronted many large bands, from Rhythm and Blues 7-piece power house Grapevine Road to the nationally acclaimed World Beat and Groove band Entrain, Ned followed his vision and created this killer original rock show. Bringing in the very talented Kemp Dunn on drums and vocals (The Movers, Barrence Whitfield) and the spine-tingling guitar and vocals of Mark Pelosi (Groove) plus—for this show—Eric Goldberg on keyboards, Ned & The Big Babies deliver an eclectic mix of unique original music, with passion, musicality and humor to their live performance that lift spirits and save souls!

Jenny Dee and her Deelinquints bring their soulful voices and smoking hot band to ignite a blazing night of fun in the park! Long a Boston Area favorite, Jenny and the band have performed at some of the biggest venue around including Fenway Park Fenway Park with Aerosmith and J Geils Band, The Boston Music Awards, The SXSW Music Festival, Boston Symphony Hall & Pop Montreal. Infectious, delicious, top tapping, hip shaking, head bobbing…need we say more!
