Logo Contest Artists' Info
Every year, the Marblehead Festival of Arts sponsors a competition to design a new logo to represent the Festival. From these entries, judges select fifteen to twenty designs as semifinalists; and from the semifinalists, select several finalists for presentation to the public. The public then determines the winner by ballot.
The winning Logo is announced at the Logo Premiere Party in late January and then given wide visibility in the Festival's logo products—shirts, T-shirts, hats, wine glasses, and other memorabilia—available at the the Festival's Logo Store. The new logo also adorns Festival posters, the printed Festival Program, and the Festival Web site.
During the summer Festival, the semifinalist and finalist designs are on display at the Logo Exhibit. Past logo winners can be viewed in the Logo History section of the Web site.
