Theatre has always been an integral part of our culture, reflecting and expanding the experience of those who are a part of that culture. From primitive storytelling to the massive, expensive formal productions of the present day, theatre informs, teaches and profoundly affects us all.

Dramatic Reading Committee: The Mugford Street Players
Since Writers’ World started, the Mugford Street players have read selections from the winning entries. In 2013, they read the entries awarded Best of Show and Outstanding Works in each category, the Marcia Doehner Award, and the Georgette Beck Award.
