The Marblehead Festival of Arts has commissioned Hestia Creations to craft an ornament based on the 2007 festival logo. A limited edition of 250 ornaments will be produced; the signed artist's proof (original design #1) of the logo ornament will be auctioned off at the Festival’s Annual Art Auction.
The decision to commission a Hestia Creations ornament depicting the festival’s logo grew out of the recognition of the popularity of both Hestia’s AmeriScape ornaments and the Marblehead Festival of Arts’ logo products. “Once the idea was presented, the board got very excited about creating an ornament. The anticipation of the first Marblehead Festival of Arts commissioned Hestia Creations ornament is palpable,” said festival president Christine Kepko. “People just can't wait to see one in person. Hestia's custom work is always lovely, and what their artists created for us is truly exceptional.”
