This exhibit features the work of students in preschool through grades 4 attending public or private schools in Marblehead, nonresidents in school or taking lessons in Marblehead, and Marblehead residents attending private schools out of town.
The Debra and Jack Highberger Award, initiated in 2012, may be awarded annually to an artist entered in either the Youth or Student Art Exhibit whose work demonstrates a love or commitment to art and a proficiency and depth of theme, message or evoked emotion that transcends his or her chronological age.
