North Carolina-based Todd Tinkham’s film has been shown in many film festivals and won a Best Cinematography prize at the second Kent (Connecticut) Film Festival.

Leah Meyerhoff is a filmmaker living in New York. Twitch won second prize for Best Narrative at the 2005 Slamdance Film Festival. Note: This film contains scenes of intimate behavior.

El Bolero

A lonely widower encounters a “bolero” (a colloquial Mexican term for a shoeshine man) who provides him with more than a shine to his shoes. El Bolero was featured as part of the Boston International Film Festival in Boston on June 12; and it was shown at the Brattle Theatre in February as part of a program of the most innovative works created by Boston area filmmakers.
