Todd Tinkham, a former New England resident now residing in North Carolina, has won many prizes in festivals around the country. His Sadie Turns Seven was shown at the Film Festival last year.

An elderly woman mistakes someone else for her grandson, a possibly fatal error. Mike Kennedy is a producer-editor at Captains of Industry, a marketing and film company in Watertown, Massachusetts. Over the River was an Official Selection both at the New England Film and Video Festival and the Roxbury Film Festival and won an Honorable Mention at the Film North Film Festival in Beverly in June, 2007.

Ms. Olschan is a filmmaker from Connecticut and her film was selected as one of the region’s best independent films by the Boston Cinema Census this year.

Ros Bobos, aka Andrew Hannah, has been creating sound collages and videos for over 15 years and his films have been shown both at the Festival and other venues in New England.

Let’s see…we have the flame thrower, the belly dancers, the mermaids, the girls buried up to their necks in the sand…and then there’s Joan, of the British group Joan as Police Woman, in Statue-of-Liberty drag, telling you, “I wanna have you now, but I can’t be the lighter of your eternal flame…” This music video was directed by Leah Meyerhoff (director of Twitch, shown here last year), who makes shorts and videos, and who is now working on her first feature film.
