Accessibility
The Festival Art Exhibits are situated in several buildings in historic Marblehead. Some streets are narrow and some are one-way.
Public parking is available on most streets, but it is limited. Handicapped parking spaces are available, but very few in number.
A Festival Trolley provides easy, free transportation to the Exhibit areas from satellite parking at Marblehead High School, and transportation between Exhibit locations. The Trolley does not have a wheelchair lift. For details, including the Trolley schedule,
Visitors may wish to consult a map prior to visting Marblehead. Although the exhibit locations are relatively close to each other, the terrain is hilly. Old North Church is on lower Washington Street; and Old Town House, at Market Square, also is situated along lower Washington Street. Abbot Hall, St. Michael’s Church, and the Unitarian Universalist Church are all uphill from lower Washington Street.
Abbot Hall, Old North Church, St. Michael's Church, and Unitarian Universalist Church have handicapped accessible restrooms; Marblehead Arts Association and Old Town House do not.
